Describes the tragic life of the artist Otto Schneid and the posthumous donation to the Fisher Library of his extensive archive consisting of over five thousand items, including: book manuscripts and articles; correspondence with artists, public figures, and world leaders; photographs of artwork by some 180 European Jewish artists from the early 1930s; exhibition catalogues of these artists; and autobiographies of the lives of some 160 artists.
